I'll bring Tennis Ball back!

— Firey, "Zeeky Boogy Doog"

This page lists the interactions between Firey and Tennis Ball.

Firey and Tennis Ball seem to have had a minor friendship during the merge episodes of the first season. However, in the episode where Coiny was eliminated, Tennis Ball and Firey's relationship turned sour when Firey "had to keep slapping." However, in Season 2, they seemed to be on good terms again, with the two of them even stated as being close friends in Intruder Alert. However, after being eliminated in "Meaty", Firey says goodbye to Tennis Ball after blaming him for his elimination, saying Rocky is now his friend, presumably ending the friendship between Firey and Tennis Ball. In IDFB-BFB, the two didn't interact with each other again.

Episodes suggesting a friendship[]

In "Puzzling Mysteries", Tennis Ball voted for Firey to join his team.

In "A Leg Up in the Race", Firey and Tennis Ball are seen chatting during the night scene. Tennis Ball suggests that Firey shouldn't set people he doesn't know on fire.

In "The Reveal", Firey and Tennis Ball are partners by default after the others choose their own. They get 3rd place in the challenge and win 15 points.

In "Reveal Novum", after the intro, Firey and Tennis Ball can be seen having a conversation with each other.

In "Zeeky Boogy Doog", both Firey and Tennis Ball were at the top of the Eiffel Tower in the beginning. Firey recovered Tennis Ball with the HPRC.

In "The Long-lost Yoyle City", Tennis Ball tells Firey that the Davids in Davidland aren't saying "Aw seriously" because they only do it if they are provoked. Firey reassures Tennis Ball that he doesn't want to provoke them.

In "Well Rested", Firey says that he can't wait to see Tennis Ball again, before recovering him. When Tennis Ball is recovered, Firey says he missed him. Later, when Team No-Name hides in the iffy room from Evil Leafy, Tennis Ball tells Firey not to worry since she's on the other side of the glass. However, Evil Leafy ends up phasing through the glass. When they hide in the fancy room, Firey is confused about how Evil Leafy can't get in. Tennis Ball explains that since Evil Leafy moves instantaneously, the door doesn't register her movement as motion. Firey says that's good news for them.

in "Intruder Alert", Tennis Ball asks Firey if they are really close friends, to which Firey says they are. Tennis Ball asks Firey to switch teams for just one episode in order to steal Ruby's Yoylite, and Firey agrees to as long as Gelatin goes with him.

Neutral interactions[]

In "Lofty", when the Announcer tells everyone to climb the stairs, Firey is making a weird expression and Tennis Ball looks at him confused. When Firey is on the ground, Tennis Ball points out to him that it's all down to Coiny to win for them.

In "Insectophobe's Nightmare", when Tennis Ball points out that their team is ahead, Firey excitedly repeats him upon hearing this. This makes Tennis Ball uneasy as Firey's voice could've given them away to the Squishy Cherries.

In "Well Rested", when Firey says that Nonexisty caused them to lose, Tennis Ball corrects him by saying it was Puffball.

Episodes suggesting a conflict[]

In "Insectophobe's Nightmare", Tennis Ball was annoyed at Firey for slapping Coiny throughout the challenge. Tennis Ball is annoyed with Firey again when his screaming, due to his fear of heights, helps the Squishy Cherries realize that they're behind.

In "Lofty", Firey and Coiny are the only people left on Another Name with Tennis Ball, and they won't stop slapping each other. Tennis Ball doesn't seem happy about this.

In "A Leg Up in the Race", Tennis Ball tells Coiny and Firey to calm down when they are arguing. Firey responds with "What would you know Tennis Ball, you don't even have arms.".

In "Don't Lose Your Marbles", Firey slapped Tennis Ball because he was so used to slapping Coiny, Tennis Ball kicks him in response. Firey later randomly slaps Tennis Ball three more times, which makes Tennis Ball does not want to work with him anymore, suggesting that they were working together.

In "Meaty", after Firey becomes eliminated, he yells at Ruby for not giving him her Yoylite, who in response shifts the blame to Tennis Ball, as he was the one that told Firey to switch to FreeSmart and should have switched himself in the first place. Firey corrects himself and starts to scream at Tennis Ball. Once he is sent to the WTF, he claims to not be Tennis Ball's friend anymore, and says he is now Rocky's friend instead.
